I have been working in the IT industry for a number of years now and have found my home at a small business in West Nashville, known as Bellevue, called MouseCalls Computer Services, Inc.  We do everything.  MouseCalls provides support for both Mac and PC as well as setting up and maintaining networks of all sizes.  We also help users get acustomed to their gadgets(ie. iphones, blackberrys, treos, palm pilots, and so on), and we can even fix gaming consoles.  MouseCalls is so knee deep in technology that we have even been thinking of changing our name to something like MouseCalls Technology Services instead of Computer Services.

The owner of MouseCalls, Alan Reeves, started the business from his home in February of 1998 so we have been around for some time and plan on staying.  He hand picks the techs that work at MouseCalls and each tech has their own unique skill set.  Above all, everyone that works at MouseCalls has a love for what they do as well as the team they work with.  We are an IT family that never stops with the communication amongst each other.  We are open Monday thru Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday 10:00am to 4:00pm, but we never stop working.

With that said, my unique skill set is the Mac support side.  Before I arrived at MouseCalls in March of 2008, Mr. Reeves was the only onsite Apple tech.  I barely knew Macs when I first started.  My parents bought a Mac a few years ago and that Christmas after they got theirs, they bought me mine.  They were thinking I could learn mine and then teach them theirs, but by the time I knew mine, they were comfortable with their iMac.  I put my 15.4″ model MacBook Pro in a corner somewhere and didn’t touch it until the summer of 2008.  I slowly started to learn it and became familiar with the odds and ends and then one day it clicked.  I have not been able to put my MacBook down since.  Matter of fact, I now have 2 MacBooks.  I went out and bought a few books on Apple Computers and developed a relationship with the Apple Store here in Nashville.  That was it.  I found my place in MouseCalls and I must say that I could not have done that without the support of my very loving parents, and the awesome MouseCalls team that I work with.
