Instant Message on a Mac
Besides iChat there really aren’t very many instant messengers out there for Mac. I have found the best one is something called Adium. This instant messenger is comparable to Trillian for PC whereas it takes care of all the instant message protocols such as Yahoo, AIM, Gtalk, Facebook, MySpace, ICQ, and so on. It does this all within the same messenger. This prevents clutter on your desktop and allows you to run one instant messenger for everything. It is supper easy to install and best of all, it is free. It will store all of your screen names, usernames and so on so one click will sign them all in at once. Below is a link to the download page and it is compatible with both Tiger(10.4) and Leopard(10.5).
